Barbara Jo Hampton

Barbara Jo Hampton was born on January 26, 1961 to Floyd & Betty Pylipps in Astoria, Oregon. A lifelong resident, Barbara grew up and attended high school in Astoria. After graduation, she went on to hold a number of different jobs, the most significant of which was working for Shilo Inn East for over 10 years. Barbara was a very active person but always had time for her family and grandchildren whom she adored. She enjoyed cooking and the pleasure brought by sipping caramel frappes. She loved the challenge of puzzles and delighted in the entertainment brought by watching movies. Barbara Jo Hampton passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Astoria on August 27, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother. Barbara is survived by two sisters, two daughters and six grandchildren. No formal funeral services have been planned at this time.
