Ed is survived by his Daughters, Rhonda Sue Horecny Ison Sewell and Alycia Lewise Horecny Waddell Camberg and granddaughters, Jessica Marina Brandt and Brittany Leeanna Brandt. In addition, Ed is survived by ex-wife Marilyn Horecny, ex-wife Janice Doerr and ex-wife Patsy Lee Horecny. Ed was followed in death by his beloved dog, Arby.
Ed enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved to work more than most people. His logging career spanned more than 70 years and he was the owner and operator of Horecny Logging Company.
His colorful stories and unusual way of speaking will be remembered and imitated long after his death. Hamlet, Oregon will not be the same without him.
A memorial potluck will be held Saturday June 1st, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Hamlet School House, Hamlet Road, Seaside Oregon.
