Linda Kay Lee

July 20, 1943 — December 16, 2017

On December 16, 2017, Linda Lee passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side at her home in Packwood where she lived for almost 50 years. She will always be loved by her children, Nathan Warner, Deborah Frey, Carol Warner, Gary Warner, Donna Frey, and Alan Warner. Her grandchildren were especially precious to her, Aaron Warner, Ben Warner, Jennifer Hendrickson, Janette Sinclair, Daniel Frey, Amanda Warner, Andrea Warner, Danielle Warner, Casey Popenoe, Richie Popenoe, Donnie Warner and Connor Warner. She was blessed with 15 great grandchildren, Samantha, Madison, Charli, Andi, Cloe, Jack, John, Mickael, Elora, Michael, Ciara, Malissa, Aurora, Izak and Olivia. Her nephew, Chris Thornton, holds a dear place in her heart. Linda was born July 20, 1943, to Fred and Edna Pearl Thornton. They lived in Underwood, Washington where Fred worked at Broughton Lumber Company. Linda later married and had her two daughters, Debbie and Donna. On March 28, 1966, Linda married Donald Warner and their families merged and they added their son Alan. Together, they raised 6 children in Packwood and enjoyed 29 years together until Donalds passing. On October 28, 2004, Linda married Rick Lee. They had 13 great years together and spent their favorite hours fishing the local lakes together. Linda had many hobbies including crafts, bowling, fishing and especially singing. Through the years, she sang for her family members, sang for the kids on her school bus, sang for the residents at the Morton Care Center and as of late, sang with the Big Bottom Drifters at their jam sessions. Lindas love of sports was legendary. She attended the sporting events of her kids and grandkids. She played and coached softball in the community. She loved the Mariners and the Seahawks and never missed a game! Linda had many friends in the Packwood community including her Blantons Market family, the Warner family members and especially the Redfield family. She loved all of the people that she served at the store with her big smile and her laugh. She loved you all. A Celebration of Life will be held for Linda in the new year.
