Arturo Luis Perez, 39, of Seaside, died Wednesday August 22, 2012 at home.
He was born November 6, 1972, in Villa Hermosa, Tabasco, Mexico to Ricarda Perez Perez and Ezquiel Luis. His parents survive, residing in Oaxaca, Oaxaca, Mexico.
In 1994 he met his life partner, Isabel Barriga, in San Diego, CA. She survives, residing in Seaside.
Mr. Perez was the owner of 'La Casa De La Musica' and was a server at Maggie's On the Prom restaurant in Seaside, where he lived for 15 years.
Family members said he enjoyed origame, reggae music, electronics, video games and soccer.
In addition to his partner, he is survived by daughter, Celeste Barriga of Seaside; two brothers, Elias Perez of Seaside and Jesus Perez of Warrenton; and a sister, Leonor Perez of Warrenton.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, August 30, followed by a rosary at 6 p.m., at Hughes-Ransom Mortuary, 220 N. Holladay in Seaside.
There will be no funeral.
Interment is private.
