Benny Roy Parker

Benny Parker, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away suddenly on August 18, 2026, following a tragic car accident. He was 86 years old.

Benny was born on October 21, 1939. In 1962, he married the love of his life, Waylene Parker, and together they soon moved to Elk Grove, California, where Benny made his dream of owning a dairy farm come true. Benny and Waylene raised their three children, Tim, Lou, and Angie, building a life filled with hard work, family, and love. Later, Benny and Waylene moved to Tillamook, Oregon, where they joined the Tillamook Creamery Association and continued making a life together in the community they loved.

Benny is survived by his three children: Tim Parker of Pendleton, Oregon; Lou Parker of Sisters, Oregon; and Angie Rankin of Divide, Montana. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren—Josh Parker, Cody Parker, Justine Parker, Kaitlyn Rieger, Shelby Hulburt, Maria Parker, and Sara Parker—and three great-granddaughters. He is also survived by his brother, Richard Parker, of California.

Benny was a man who found joy in the simple things. He loved growing a garden and sharing its bounty with friends and neighbors. He had a special love for animals and could rarely pass up a good auction. His generosity, humor, hard work, and love for those around him touched many lives.

Benny will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.Though his passing was sudden, the memories he created and the love he gave will remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be loved always.

Friends and family will gather on August 31st at 2:00 p.m. at the Brownsmead Grange, 42280 Fish Lane, Brownsmead, Oregon, to share stories, memories, and love for Benny.
