Jean Marie Wilson

Jean Marie Wilson, 101, passed away at her residence in Astoria on July 29, 2025.

Jean was born on June 20, 1924 in Coquille, OR to parents Lester and Gladys Clinton. She and Donald G. Wilson were married in 1942. Jean worked as a legal secretary and spent a lot time volunteering at the Bob Chisholm Community Center. She also loved knitting and collecting enough yarn to cover the length of a football field.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband Donald, and her only daughter Cathryn Kinder. She is survived by Cathryn’s husband, Gary Kinder, their sons Don and Mark Brown. Grandchildren Cody, Austin, and Alix Brown. Great Grandchildren, Hudson, Asher, and Kay.

In leu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Bob Chisholm Community Center.
