Kirby William Klessig, 48, of Astoria, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, in Astoria.
He was born Jan. 6, 1964, in Portland, to Lyle Klessig and Lois Stunkard Hawley.
After graduation from Knappa High School in 1982, he was a maintenance worker and did logging.
Family members said he enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a member of Ducks Unlimited.
Kirby is survived by an uncle and aunt, Marvin and Susan Stunkard of Astoria, and two cousins, Matt and Mike Stunkard, also of Astoria. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Karen Gerttula.
A Memorial Gathring will be held at 2:PM Sunday, October 7, 2012 at the Svensen Senior Centre in Svensen.
