Margaret Lenore "Maggie" Reel, 55, of Seaside, died Sunday, March 3, 2013, in Seaside.
She was born Feb. 3, 1958, in Portland, to Thomas and Dorothy (Chapman) Dryden. Her father survives, residing in Gearhart.
She attended Catlin Gable School and the University of Washington.
Ms. Reel was a homemaker and mother, and managed Jones New York in Seaside. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her children.
She is survived by five children: two daughters, Sally (30) and Josh Ness of Ithaca, N.Y., and Julia (28) and Jake Burke of Jewell; three sons, Joseph DeNotta (24) of Philadelphia, Anthony Reel (17) of Seaside and Charles Reel (15) of Jewell; two granddaughters, Ella Burke (3) and Brooklyn Burke (9 months) of Jewell; a grandson, Camden Lunsford-Reel (15 months) of Seaside; and her siblings, Janet Nichols, Thomas Dryden, Leonard Dryden and Jason Dryden.
A memorial will be held at noon, Saturday, March 9, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1403 S. Wahanna Road in Seaside.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Womens Resource Center, P. O. Box 1342, Astoria, OR 97103.
