Rita Kathleen Scott

Rita Kathleen Scott passed away on December 28^th, 2022 in hospital with her beloved sister Pamela by her side.

Rita was born in Tacoma, Washington on December 14^th 1954 and moved to Warrenton, Oregon over thirty years ago and she deeply loved the community she became part of. Rita derived much more pleasure in giving than receiving and was generous to a fault. She particularly enjoyed anonymous giving, she always gave to local school supply drives, Secret Santas, toy drives and every year she would bring Christmas treats to Warrenton Fire & Police departments.

Rita was married to Mike Scott, a Vietnam Vet who passed away in 2014. They enjoyed riding motorcycles and camping together.

She loved cooking, baking cookies and watching cooking shows. One of her all-time favorite memories was seeing Reba McEntire at Camp Rilea during the Regatta of 2011. She was a loyal employee of the Main Street Market for many years before moving to the Nike Outlet store. She was known and loved by many and will be greatly missed.
