Ronald Ralph Norris was born in Harrisburg Pennsylvania on 9/20/1940.

His Parents were Mary Helen Grove and Ralph Alphonso Norris. He was raised and lived in Hesston Pennsylvania. He graduated From Huntington High School. He joined the air force soon after high school. Ron met Judie Farthing while in the service then Married Judie Farthing on June 17 th 1961 in Arizona. Ron was a lifetime mechanic first in the air force then Boeing, Astoria ford, found his carrier @ Georgia Pacific then retired in 2002. He also was a firefighter in Astoria and Graduated from CCC with a fire science degree.

Ron loved everything to do with the outdoors: Fishing, Hunting, Crabbing, Clam Digging and Gardening. During the hunting season he would cut endless cords of wood to have for the winter. Sometimes when hunting you did not know if you were hunting for animals or chanterelle mushrooms. Ron also helped his wife and daughter in their business Rags to Riches Upholstery over the years.

Ron is survived by: His wife Judie Norris Son’s: Rodney Norris Daughter in law Sheila Norris, Douglas Norris & Daughter Rhonda Hageman Son in law Kenneth Hageman. Older Sister Anna Mary Grove, Younger Sister Dolly Wentz & Jen Ford and Brother in law Gary Ford. Many Grandkids: Aaron Norris, Aliisa & Jon Lapacek, Julia Norris Trey & Darian Hageman, Logan & Dallas Norris, also Great grandchildren. We want to thank All the Caregivers and Give a special thank you to Deb Foley, Brenda, Barb and Tavius for helping care for Ron.


A Celebration of life will be on October 19th @ 92607 Fern Hill Road from 1:30 to 3:30. 

We welcome family and friends to join us as we celebrate Ron Norris.

In Lieu of flowers you can donate to Clatsop County Hospice or to the Alzheimer's Association.
