Virginia Jean (Scheer) Brainerd, 85, died at her home in Seaside, OR on December 29, 2012.
She was born August 27, 1927 in Milwaukie, OR to Ezra and Violet (Orvis) Scheer. She graduated from Milwaukie High in Milwaukie, OR. In 1950 she married Frank Brainerd who preceded her in death.
Virginia lived in Seaside for 11 years. Before retiring in 1998 she was a medical secretary. She was a member of Seaside Methodist Church and enjoyed needlepoint projects.
She is survived by three sons, Randy of Seaside, Clayton of Everett, WA and Brian of Tucson, AZ; a daughter, Sandi Santana of Seaside, a granddaughter, Cryst'l Gatto and Great Grandson, Alex Tommaso.
In addition to her parents and husband, Virginia was preceded in death by a son, Russell Brainerd.
